International PKF China Forum in Beijing

With the implementation of the "One Belt One Road" policy, the pace at which Chinese enterprises have been “going out” has accelerated. From September 7 to 8, 2017 more than 40 PKF family members from 13 countries arrived in Beijing to participate in a two-day International PKF China Forum. Head of China Desk-Yundan Bao, and lawyer Christoph Janning represented PKF Fasselt Duisburg from Germany at this conference.

On September 7, 2017, the PKF representatives visited the offices of PKF ZXC, China United Assets Appraisal Group and the Jingzhou Lianxin Tax Firm and discussed various topics. In the course of the discussion, the participants of the conference exchanged their views about the domestic and foreign assets evaluation criteria and overseas investment opportunities.

“Work Together and Win-win Cooperation“ was the slogan under which the "OBOR International Investment Summit” in Beijing finally took place on September 8, 2017,  jointly organized by PKF ZXC, PKF International and the Jingzhou Lianxin Tax Firm. More than 200 people participated in the conference. Among them there were not only several important representatives of the listed Chinese enterprises including China Railway Corporation Limited, Hebei Iron und Steel und China Minmetals, but also members of Chinese governmental institutions such as Chinese Institute of Certifies Public Accountants (CICPA).

The members of PKF held professional speeches on issues including the realization of overseas investment, overseas IPO and overseas M&A, legal and tax risks in business process. Yundan Bao and Christoph Janning delivered a speech on the features of business formation and M&A in Germany. The city of Duisburg drew a lot of attention due to its location as a strategic hub on the New Silk Road and a key venue for commerce, logistic and steel industry in Europe.

Yao Gengchun the managing partner of PKF ZXC in China, stated in his speech, that as a new member of the PKF International network, he considered the link between the enterprises going abroad and the international financial and taxation service agencies as very important. This strategy was a good way to solve the problems of "going out". Therefore, ZXC will collaborate with PKF overseas members to provide an even more professional, comprehensive and more high-quality services to Chinese enterprises.
